The occurrence happened at the family house in the Bhadaini area on Monday night when 50-year-old Rajendra Gupta savagely murdered his wife Neetu Gupta 45, sons Navnendra 25, and Subendra 15, and a daughter, Gaurangi 16 when they were asleep.
Cities were immediately alerted, and the crime scene revealed signs of a violent struggle. The horrific nature of the crime has left the community in utter disbelief and mourning.
The Search For Answers Began
After the horrifying discovery of the murders of the family members from Varanasi, local police also initiated an investigation to find the truth about the murders. Cops also brought a forensic squad to the scene which collected all pieces of evidence like blood, and fingerprints at the scene that could help identify the culprits.
